The coordination of hand and feet movement seems most difficult-along with keeping the spoons in time with the rhythm. Only the respective first impulses for the hand and foot movement happen together and occur on the first beat. The foot movements alternate between right and left, whereas the percussion combination always begins with the right. |
| The movement of the feet always occurs on the first three eighths with a "break" on the final eighth. The rhythm follows every beat of the eighth and doubles on the second eighth.  Video |
